Pop into any Sainsburys on Friday 16 May and they will give you a free pint of their orange label 1% fat milk or a coupon to claim if stocks are depleted. Basically 1% fat milk has less fat then semi-skimmed, but does not taste as “watery” as skimmed milk. May as well give it a try if its free.

On 30th April, Sainsburys became first supermarket to sell own brand 1% fat milk. It contains 40% less saturated fat than semi skimmed. The good news is, in taste tests 2 out of 3 people couldnt tell the difference. All of which adds up to us being 100% confident youll like it.
